Description

MRI Spine Interpretation including physics, slice sequence acquisition and interpretation of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar images. Reviewing T1, T2, STIR and T2 Fat Sat technology. Also, managing the case in a contemporary office to determine an accurate diagnosis by determining if collaborative care is clinically indicated.

9:30 – 10:30 am:          Introduction to MRI in Clinical Chiropractic Practice

10:30-11:30 am:           Disc physiology and morphology

11:30 am – 12:30 pm:   The basics on MRI spinal anatomy and slice sequencing

12:30 – 1 pm:                 LUNCH

1 -2 pm:                          Disc herniation types (Cervical & Lumbar)

2-3 pm:                           Age-Dating Discs

3 – 4:30 pm                     MRI Case Reviews

4:30 – 5:30 pm                MRI and Collaboration with MDs and Lawyers
